Congratulations on getting runner up in the OPI Haunted Movie Mani competition! Their post popped up on facebook and I literally gasped out loud when I saw your tumblr watermark on the pic and was like 'OMG I know who did those!!' :D Congrats!!
in your opinion, which polish company is better, essie or opi ? or if not any of those, which one?
Well, here’s my experience and opinion of each brand. My favorite brand is OPI because the color selection is very rich with exceptional coverage of the nail bed, meaning a majority of the colors aren’t see through. Essie has a beautiful array of soft pink and white colors that you won’t find in very many other brands but from what I’ve seen, it takes a little bit longer to dry. Orly has beautiful colors as well, but same thing when it comes to drying time. China Glaze has the best selection as far as neon and exotic colors go, but most of the colors don’t have a built in top coat, which leaves the polish matte and easier to chip.
Hey .. i just wanted to ask ..how do you do so many layers withount gettin airbubbles .. i always seem to get them when i do more then 3 leyers :/ xxx
Hey! Big apologies for the very late response. To avoid air bubbles, don’t shake your top coat, and apply your color with pressure. That’ll keep the bubbles from forming. Also, 3 layers of color aren’t necessary if you apply the 2 coats of polish properly. I have a YouTube tutorial of how to apply polish if you want to check it out! :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mP1OtRCjxfM
I’m very, very grateful for all of my followers and for the people who share my art with everyone. I’m extremely flattered and it means so much to me that you guys admire my nail art.
But, I would really appreciate it if you could kindly give me credit for my original designs. Please do not alter my water mark or crop it out.
Please be my guest to use any of the designs you might see on my blog. Personally, I have been inspired by many of my fellow nail artists and grabbed ideas from all over, but I make sure to give proper credit when needed.
Once again, I’m very happy that you enjoy my art. Thanks so much guys! You all mean so much to me. :)
