Hello! So, I was wondering, did you use any tools for the neon-drip design? the one where it looks like the neon is dripping down the black nail. I saw your design and I thought it was so neat, and I'd like to try it out! I don't have any neon colors, but I have some bright colors that will hopefully turn out somewhat like your design. Thanks so much & I love your work!
Hey! Nope, I just used stripers, simple as that! If you don’t have the colors in a striper bottle, you can get a long-haired paint brush and dip it into the bottle and it works the same way. I’m so glad you like, thank you so much for checking out my stuff. Means so much to me!! xox
Your nails are amazing, what inspires you, how do you keep a steady hand and do you use tiny brushes to get smaller strokes? :)
Thank you!!! Everything and anything inspires. Particularly the people I’m working on. I get all kinds of vibes from individuals and everyone has their own theme in life. I feed off of that! As far as the steady hands go…I’m not sure, it’s quite hilarious, because I’m probably one of the most impatient people when it comes to stuff like this. I’m actually quite messy, haha! And yes, for the more detailed strokes I use stripers or long nail art brushes. Thanks so much for checking out my blog! xox :)
Do you know how to get the Katy Perry OPI's Collection "Last Friday Night" to stick to nails? My sister has the collection and the glitter ones never wanna stay on and only last about 2 days. We've used Orly's rubber polish but even than it doesn't last long. Why are glitter polish so hard to do and keep?
I know, it’s such a bummer! Most glitter polishes chip so quickly, as you know. I would apply the Bonder by Orly base coat, then a clear coat of polish or a colored base coat coordinating with the colored glitter that you chose, and then 2 layers of the glitter polish. You may want to wait in between coats so it doesn’t take forever to dry, especially if you decide to do a third coat of glitter polish. Hope this helps!
